Synopsis of Ministries

Abide (Junior High Ministry)

Agape (Care Ministry)

  • Volunteers in the Agape Care Ministry provide unselfish love & encouragement for folks in need. Meals are delivered when new babies arrive, or when healthcare issues disrupt household routines. A food bank provides resources when the cupboard is bare. Greeting cards are sent to remember special occasions, such as birthdays or wedding anniversaries. And prayers are offered for each special occasion – both by ministry volunteers and by the church staff. Agape Care Ministry volunteers meet every 1st & 3rd Thursday morning at the church office to offer up their prayers & labors of love.

A/V

  • The A/V ministry encompasses all of our media at the church, from recording the sermons, to putting the words for worship up on the screen.

Children’s Ministry

The Dwelling Place (Bookstore)

Home Fellowships (Small Group Ministry)

Hospitality

  • This ministry gives humble but powerful evidence of the hospitable hearts of members of our church. Team members serve at an all-church potluck every month, after the main service on the first Sunday. Tasty treats are offered every Sunday after the main service. Special treats are provided for the various special events on the church calendar throughout the year.

Men’s Ministry

Moving Ministry

  • Mathew 7:12 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets."

We at the moving ministry, have a desire to share in the lives of the rest of the body, not just in the fun times but also in the work. The reality is no one really enjoys the process of moving but the hope is to have the rest of the body come along side eachother to make the work a little less burdensome. The goal of the moving ministry is to express the Lord's love and our thankfulness for His grace, through a willingness to work on His behalf. If you would like to be a part of this ministry and be notified of the next upcoming move please contact David Jones. If you need help with a move please complete and submit the survey and allow 2 weeks time before you plan to move in order to give us adequate time to coordinate your planned move.

Open Hands

  • Open Hands is a group of people who meet once every other month to serve food at the Puyallup Armory. For more informations contact Stormie McCarthy at 253.226.9179.

Prayer Ministry

  • Our team of prayer warriors intercedes throughout each week for specific needs of members of the body – that the church might know and do God’s will in each case. Individual prayer is supplemented by regular corporate prayer meetings.

Prison Ministry

Women’s Ministry

Worship

  • The aim of the worship ministry is to allow God to draw us into His presence and to encourage us to stay there all week long. Volunteer singers & musicians serve every Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, and more.
