"Remember the prisoners as if chained with them..." Hebrews 13:3
South Hill Calvary Chapel provides opportunities for church members to serve the Lord, by ministering to prisoners who have given their lives to Him, as well as to prisoners who remain lost in darkness. Church members serve in various ministries, such as: Crossways Ministries, Rebuilding Families, Prisoners for Christ, Kairos, and others.
Pastors and other church members are eager to help you explore what the Lord has for you in ministry to His sons & daughters behind bars, and to their families who wait for their return.
Ministry opportunities include:
· Praying for the specific needs of prisoners
· Corresponding with prisoners
· Visiting a prisoner as your schedule permits
· Serving on an evangelism team in a prison
· Serving on a Bible study team in a prison
· Serving in ministries to rebuild families impacted by prison
· Mentoring a former prisoner immediately after release
If you are interested in volunteering to serve, or if you have questions about serving, or if you know of a prisoner or family member of theirs who needs to be ministered to with the love of Jesus, please contact:
